Villa Sa Vela combines these elements in a truly inviting way and represents a very special kind of retreat. It should be noted that villas for two are hard to find on Mallorca, as holiday homes are generally built much larger. The 6,000 m² property offers a variety of outdoor options for a pleasant holiday. The partially fenced plot is divided into natural areas, a pretty gravelled area by the pool and the tiled terrace area right next to the house. The 4 x 3 metre pool is surrounded by a natural stone wall and is easily accessible via a few steps. There are two comfortable loungers for relaxing under the Mediterranean sky, as well as a parasol if the sun's rays get too strong. Ideally, there is also a covered area in this room where you can find some breezy shade. The table placed here also gives you the opportunity to enjoy one of your meals or even just a cool drink while enjoying the beautiful view into the distance. You will find even more space and atmosphere on the covered terrace right next to the building. There are two more tables here so that arriving guests can enjoy the luxury of complete spaciousness despite the simplicity of this small restaurant. Anyone who wants to can spread out here as they please and find a new favourite spot every day. The exposed beams, pillars, tiles and natural stone walls conjure up a rustic ambience that is decoratively enhanced by the pretty climbing flowers. The majority of the relatively large property stretches out before you, allowing you to experience freedom and space to your heart's content, from a refreshing breakfast in the morning to a hearty barbecue in the evening, where you can enjoy delicious, fresh local ingredients.

The interior of the house is characterised by an original room layout and tasteful flair. From the terrace you enter the living room, where an armchair and a sofa invite you to linger in comfort. The impressive fireplace can contribute to the cosy atmosphere and spread warmth on cool evenings. There is also hot/cold air conditioning in this room. The spacious and bright kitchen is fully equipped and fitted with modern appliances. It offers ample storage space and work surfaces, and can also comfortably accommodate a dining table. A kettle and filter coffee machine are also included, as well as an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and much more. The cleverly separated, cosy sleeping area with a 1.60 x 2.00 bed ensures a restful night's sleep. A contemporary design awaits guests in the light-flooded bathroom, which is located directly next to the sleeping area. An iron and hairdryer are available in the house, so you don't need to bring your own from home.

Villa Sa Vela is an excellent base from which to explore the island's diverse landscape, villages and markets. Various attractive beaches can be reached quickly and easily with your hire car. Due to the proximity to the sea, you have the opportunity to take part in a variety of different water sports, which can be booked with local providers on request. The landscape around Colonia de Sant Jordi is characterised by numerous salt pans. A visit to this nature reserve and its salt pans is highly recommended. The lighthouse at Cap de Ses Salines is a great starting point for wonderful hikes. The tastefully furnished Villa Sa Vela is situated in an absolutely secluded location in the south of the island, just 7 km north-east of the coastal town of Colonia de Sant Jordi. This former fishing village has two beautiful sandy beaches, the northern one being the famous natural beach of Es Trenc. A visit to the local harbour area and its inviting restaurants is not to be missed.
