By bike you can reach the old port, the beach and the city center within ten minutes. Stop at one of the bars or restaurants on Quai Duperré and enjoy a wonderful view of the boats and the water from the terraces. Not far from here stand the three towers, the symbol of the city. For day trips, the islands of Ile de Ré and Ile d?Oléron with wide sandy beaches, shady pine forests, salt marshes and dunes, and picturesque villages.
