Otherwise, there are many opportunities for hiking in the nearby mountains. Many people also bring their bikes and ride up into the mountains, or take the elevator up to cycle down the mountain. The apartment is a good starting point for day trips to western Norway and the beautiful fjords. The Hemsedal area also offers several events during the summer season. In other words, this apartment is a very good choice if you want to spend an active and exciting vacation in Norway.
