Apartment in two-family house, situated at 600 m above sea level, set in a small hamlet above Cortona (18 km). Large private terrace with valley view. The separate pool area is set about 70 m below, also with large sun terrace and seats (shared with ITA227). From the terrace you enter directly into the kitchen/living room, a narrow wooden staircase leads to the first floor, which is also accessible by an outer staircase. From the cozy living room with open fireplace, there is another side exit to the outside. The old farmhouse has been restored in a rustic style and tastefully furnished. Baby cot available upon request. The owners' family lives in a house nearby in the same hamlet and is available to the guests with advice and assistance. The entire property is fenced and surrounded by rolling hills with woods. At about 2 km there is a small restaurant (see also ITA262 and ITA263). Ideal accommodation for those seeking to relax amidst unspoiled nature. Many hiking and biking trails in the area. On the western side: the splendid Etruscan town of Cortona with all kinds of shops, bars, restaurants, museums, art galleries; A little further away Lake Trasimeno (35 km), Montepulciano (40 km), Pienza (50 km), Arezzo (50 km). In the east you will find Umbrian towns such as Città di Castello (35 km), Gubbio (50 km), Perugia (60 km) and Assisi (90 km). And if your choice is too difficult, you can easily stay in your small paradise
